Dr. Reena Shah was born and raised in the Chicago area. She graduated with honors from The University of Illinois, Urbana in 1995 and received her Doctorate in Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital and is Board Certified. In addition, Dr. Shah has participated in a local community health clinic and has traveled to India and Guatemala to provide health care to under-served people.
Dr. Shah specializes in internal medicine focusing on preventative care, nutrition and women's health issues. This provides her with a broad base of knowledge and expertise in the clinical areas of hypertension, diabetes, weight reduction and adult medicine for those over the age of 15.
Dr. Shah is married with two children and lives in Geneva.
Dr. Allam was born in India and received her Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery at the University of Health Sciences. She moved to the U.S. in 2001 and received training in Internal Medicine at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital, affiliate to Temple University in Pennsylvania. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Allam takes pride in offering a caring medical environment to her patients in the office, the hospital setting, and in nursing homes. She is trained to prevent, diagnose, and manage adult concerns, including hypertension, cholesterol, diabetes, and weight loss, and general wellness. She strives to help her patients understand their health care needs.
She is married with two children and lives in Elgin.
